The Amphibious Warship Industrial Base Coalition will host a Congressional forum on the value and the importance of U.S. Navy amphibious warships to the nation. The Congressional forum will highlight U.S. Navy amphibious warships and their critical role of enabling the Navy-Marine Corps team to deploy swiftly and aggressively from sea and air in times of crisis. The forum will highlight the importance of building amphibious warship in order to move quickly and cost-effectively toward the full 38 amphibious warships required by the U.S. Marine Corps.
